The Drumi is a foot-powered washing machine that uses 80% less water and detergent than a regular washing machine. It cuts the time to a mere 1-3 minutes for washing and 1-2 minutes for rinsing. The Drumi is perfect for small loads (t-shirts, undergarments, baby-clothes, etc). If going to a campground for an extended period of time (or a long road trip), this washing machine seems like a practical answer. You don’t have to over-pack your bag with an exorbitant amount of clothes; just wash the few you brought wherever you go!
The Drumi can hold up to 5L of water (with an additional 5-8L for the rinse cycle). It’s easy to load and has a detergent tray on top that can hold up to 3-different detergents at a time (i.e. liquid detergent, powder detergent or solid soap). To drain the machine, just push the green button on top! The Drumi is portable, lightweight, ergonomic, environmentally conscious (made from recycled materials), rugged (textured foot-pedal can handle day-to-day use) and water resistant (e.g. store in the shower/bathtub)!
