Test results: Tectron Vs Kiwi Camp Dry Vs Nikwax I’ve read plenty reviews bet haven’t seen anyone do any actual objective tests on water repellent applications, so I did my own applying 3 different brands to an old white T-shirt to see which would repel water the best. Honestly, I didn’t expect any of them to be much good on something as thin and porous as a T-shirt, but I was surprised by the results. Both the Camp Dr and Nikwax applications not only repelled water after just one application, but stopped the water from soaking though when I created a bowl-like depression in the T-shirt and filled it with a T-spoon of water. The Tectron, on the other hand, did not repel water at all and the water soaked right through, even after two applications.I’m only Giving the Nikwax 4 stars because I HATE the little sponge applicator on the tip. It quickly clogs up and turns into caked up mess and you have to force the top of the bottle off in order to use the rest of the liquid.Here are the three products I used:…
