Bio-lite grill The flavor is very heavily wood smoked with an objectionable intensity when cooking start to finish on this grill.I found that if I wrapped the meat( Chicken, burgers, hot dogsor steak) in aluminum foil and cooked, turning once in the foil, and then fiinshing the meat on the open grill, that the flavor was very good and the meats were properly cooked. (The finished meat was not as good as on a regular grill but fine for camping.)With no foil the meats should be pan cooked and then finished off on the grill.Strong woods like mesquite and cherry are too intense to use without precooking the meats, but are very good added when finishing off the meats on the grill. Intense flame will coat the grill with a creosote like tar that is hard to clean at camp. So low fire cooking, while taking longer, is better.The grill is very messy to clean if basting the meats with BBQ sauce, so this would be added last and sparingly.Covering the very bottom of the grill with…
